Ian and the team at Motorcraft have worked tirelessly over the past two weeks to get the truck ready for its first public outing – The Overlander show in Stratford and they did us proud.
Windows had to be put in, blinds fixed and the seating made to name but a few. We cannot thank Motorcraft, Oceanair blinds and Nick at Autobahn Customs. They really pulled out all the stops.
We decided that we wanted some good quality blinds, however we forgot that we were into boat season. Andy and Christian at Oceanair rearranged the schedule in the factory and managed to get our blinds in record time.
As mentioned earlier, we wanted the seating area to look more like a sofa at home. Our faces when we saw the stunning job that Nick had done was priceless.
And so to everyone at Motorcraft. How they managed to pull it all together is beyond us and is testament to the work that they do.
The queues out the door by those visiting the show at Stratford proved just how right we were. Stunning was the word most commonly used.
So its back to the factory now to get the heart put into the truck. The boys are now looking to finish it off, installing the electrics and the final touches.
Our adventure is just about to begin.
